Stitchmap Mod Swap

I am in a swap with the other mods on Stitchmap. Shari so graciously sent us a peacock feather and we all had to use it in a project for our secret swap partner. I am almost done with mine. She said smaller then a bread box and um mine is close to the size below that lol. So it is taking some extra time, add to great aspirations, the effects of my brain tumor make for some slow stitching, I hope my swap partner will think it was worth the wait:)

I got my item in the mail OH YA. Connie at Stitching like Crazy sent me a gorgeous piece. This is something I have wanted forever! Thank you Connie for the lovely huswif and the gorgeous stitching!

Here are some pictures of what I received:

The gorgeous front!See the long peacock feather that is the piece we all need to use.

This is the inside flap, This is some stunning stitching I love this so much!

This is the whole piece open showing the back, inside flap and front.

This is the inside. , on the left where the ribbon tie is there is a pocket to hold goodies. The scissors on the right are so nice. Since this beauty has arrived my daughter is zone in on those scissors. I just say nope they are mine:)

Thank you Connie so much for such a lovely piece! I will cherish is forever!

If you click on Kathy's blog link you can see how she used the feather in her swap item, very unique and ever so clever! http://www.shawkl.com/2011/05/stitchmap-moderator-challenge-swap.html
